The road to finals was tougher for India then their opponents but they surpassed all the hurdles and won the WORLD CUP...repeating the history after 28 years.It was A VICTORY dedicated to THE GOD,making THE GOD'S dream come true.
After the match, the legend was hoisted aloft Yusuf Pathan, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina and Tendulkar was draped in the Tricolour
. Kohli put the feelings of the nation in words: "He has been carrying the burden of the Indian team for 21 years and it was time we carried him on our shoulders.
"It is an unbelievable feeling. It has been a great journey. I don't have words to express it. We did it for India and Sachin," said Yuvraj, who was in tears after the victory.
